We’re excited to welcome you to GC Park Avenue Plaza, the newest Ground Central coffee shop in Midtown Manhattan.
Officially open since July 6, 2026, our new location is a coffee kiosk inside the public atrium of the Park Avenue Plaza tower at 55 East 52nd Street. The atrium can be accessed from both East 52nd and East 53rd Streets, making it an easy stop for anyone working nearby, walking through Midtown East or looking for a comfortable place to meet.
And it really is worth stepping inside.
Park Avenue Plaza’s open atrium is beautiful, bright and much bigger than you might expect. It has plenty of tables and seating, lots of space to take a break and multiple public restrooms. Whether you’re meeting a colleague, catching up with a friend or simply getting out of the office for a few minutes, it’s a welcoming place to spend some time.
At the center of it all, you’ll find our new Ground Central kiosk.
GC Park Avenue Plaza serves the Ground Central favorites you already know: espresso, cappuccinos, lattes, drip coffee, cold brew, tea, matcha, chai, hot chocolate, lemonade and plenty of other hot and iced drinks.
If you’re hungry, we have pastries, cookies, muffins, croissants and, of course, our famous Nutella banana bread. It’s a full Ground Central experience in a new setting—just with a lot more atrium around us.
Our menu changes with the seasons, too.
In the summer, look for drinks like the Lavender Latte and Coconut Water Matcha. When September arrives, so does the Pumpkin Spice Latte. In winter, the Peppermint Latte and Peppermint Chai Latte bring a little holiday spirit to Park Avenue.
There will always be something new to try, along with the classics you can count on every morning.
GC Park Avenue Plaza was designed to be more than a place to grab a drink. The kiosk includes a book library created in partnership with Huemanbooks, giving visitors something interesting to discover while enjoying their coffee.
The space also features original artwork by renowned artist Heesco. His work brings together familiar pieces of New York City, including the Empire State Building, Chrysler Building, Flatiron Building, the New York subway and Park Avenue itself.
